_ Kenny Greene - _______Drums, Percussion
Kenny comes to "The Classix" after spending many years performing with major bands in the New York metro area. From rock, blues, southern rock, country and more, Kenny sets the rock-steady back beat like a true pro and he is a great singer to boot. Ken Greene picked up a pair of chopsticks from his kitchen drawer at the age of 12 and a legend was born. He was given his first drum set at the age of 13 and was encouraged to get it out of his system. Well…that didn’t quite work out…. Ken played his first High School gig shortly afterward, being entirely self taught. The split was $50.00… 4 ways. Do the math! He was in garage bands when musicians actually practiced in their parent’s garages. Amps were tube radios with microphones taped behind the guitar strings. The first PA was a loud speaker horn stolen off the roof of his elementary school. (Don’t ask/don’t tell!). 44 years later, Ken, miraculously is still in his 30s. He has played in too many bands to mention…beginning with early Rock & Roll hits, the British Invasion, Motown, Disco, 40s and 50s classics, Punk, Alternative, Hard Rock, Soft Rock, Medium Rock, and sandstone (?)…He performed in clubs, parties, concerts…toured and recorded in the 70s, jammed with Jimmy Page; the Smithereens; opened for Steppenwolf…. He sings; he plays; he’s a rebel without a clue…. and a long time friend of the fabulous Classix!.
_Jim Wacker - _Keyboard/Vocals

Jim served as the music director for "Chubby Checker," touring with him extensively. In addition to being an extraordinary player, Jim is an awesome vocalist. He's given up the road here and abroad to spend more time with his wife and their brand new baby boy. We're lucky to have him for our Classix performances in New York City and surrounding areas. When you see Jim rock, you'll roll.
_Jimmy Anderson -______ Guitar, Slide & Vocals
"Little" Jimmy Anderson's great big sound and mesmerizing guitar solos have been thrilling blues, rock, and country aficionados around the world for decades. Jim's sexy baritone really gets the crowds going. Earning his chops as a drummer in the mid-sixties, the 6'6 nimble-fingered master picked up a guitar in the Jimi Hendrix era and never looked back. Anderson's blistering riffs and incomparable singing style are a familiar delight to The Classix growing fan base. A skilled veteran of the New York City club circuit and eclectic haunts in the tri-state region, Anderson began his musical career with the popular blues band "Bluzone". A few years later, Jim joined the Long Island based southern rock band "Southern Heart" In Nashville, Jim and his talented sisters had a successful run with their original tunes in "The Anderson's." Down south, Jim also starred in the classic blues band known as 'The Boogie Situation.' He's an award-winning cameraman and sound recordist by day.. Classix star by night.. just like a wolf...
